What is Entrepreneurship-cell?

No person in the college would have an absolute answer to the question of what happens after graduation. If you are a startup enthusiast and you are lacking clarity on the possible paths in front of you, organizations dedicated to promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship among students are there.

National Entrepreneurial Challenge(NEC)-

NEC is a competition organised by IIT, Bombay where students build and establish an E-cell in their college and performs the directed tasks through e-cell IIT, Bombay.

 Entrepreneurship Cell is essential for any college because it develops entrepreneurial spirit among students which we believe is key to development. By performing the tasks given within the time limit students get to learn about the strength of a teamwork and many other entrepreneurial qualities.

CAET's e-cell with a glowing name of “Dynamic innovators” was also made during this time.

The purpose of  e-cell is,

·      To develop entrepreneurial thoughts among us by organising competition among students like business model competition, entrepreneurial quiz, webinars, etc.

·      To make students understand entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial skills.

·      To provide them a platform which gives them number of opportunities to convert their dreams into reality.

With this dream in eyes and a fine level of dedication 17 dreamers decided to start an E-cell. And finally, that dream became a reality on September 6,2022

Of course, it was not that simple yet not so dramatic to say, how members were selected. A simple yes or no did the job…

E-CELL CAET PUSA

The Entrepreneurship Cell, CAET,PUSA also known as E-Cell CAET PUSA , is the primary entrepreneurship promoting body of the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology,Pusa  managed and run by the students with the help of faculty members of the institute. Under the mentorship of NEC program of. E-CELL IIT Bombay .

It organise initiatives like Business model competition, guest lecturer, offline workshop etc. 

Vision

The Entrepreneurship Cell, CAET, PUSA targets to help in the development of India's entrepreneurial ecosystem by enabling easy and efficient interaction between its major components spanning students, working professionals, aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, mentors, angel investors, venture capital firms and corporates through events like interactive sessions, competitions and conferences

The team is divided into 5 branches headed by 2 overall coordinators:

1.   Technical Team

2.   Human & Social Recourses

3.   Social media

4.   Event and PR

5.   Marketing team



 The first successful programme of the e-cell was an ORIENTATION PROGRAM which was held on september26,2022 where we got an opportunity to interact with -

·      Dr. Niraj Kumar (Dean & Professor, school of rural management,  XIM  ,  BHUBHNESHWAR)

·      Mr. Atul Ujjawal(Co-founder at Troika Dairy Products PVT.LTD.  and Ex vice President, YES BANKS)

The second mass successful event was a business model competition which was held on October7,2022 where various teams participated and represent their business idea and model. from my side it was very difficult to select the best model because many model were newsworthy.



   It was the event which made us proud of what they were doing. for the first time I felt like something great is going to happen . I could felt the entrepreneurial spirit which we all anticipated from the very start of this e-cell. With this they went on arranging many more programmes which up to some extend did encouraged the youth.

Lastly there is not much left to write about E-cell CAET pusa other than the fact that they are doing a really good work and I hope that they keep on organising programmes in future to keep the entrepreneurial spirit active in the youngsters.
