E- summit 2023   

E-Summit being the flagship event of Ecell iit Bombay, bringing together the academic community, venture capitalists, new age entrepreneurs and all those passionate about entrepreneurship to common grounds. It provides early entrepreneurs the opportunity to be inclined towards entrepreneurship, and take and manage bigger risks. Through various online events and workshops, they instil some entrepreneurial skills in the participants and guide them towards the path of unlocking their full potential. The summit has an attendance of 26000+ people.

IIT Bombay hosted their 18th Entrepreneurship Summit on January 28th and 29th with the great idea of creating job creators.

E-Summit'23 aims to provide a platform for discussion on innovative ideas that have the potential to transform current challenges into opportunities for positive change. 

We were the only agricultural university in India with an e cell, which is essential because there are many opportunities for business in agricultural industry. It had been a tough yet adventurous journey reaching the finals of national entrepreneurship challenge.

There were a large number of teams from different universities and different branches for both basic and advance track fighting to win the competition.  

We ranked 1st among 900+ teams and then performed in eureka finals at iit Bombay.

27th Jan 2023- our first day at Mumbai. the air felt different. 6 months ago it was a dream and now we were seeing it coming true. 

28th and 29th Jan 2023-  being a part of NEC was itself a great news and to add an cheery on top after attending the semi finals on 28th and competing with 20 other teams, we were on top 5.

 

Although we were afraid by seeing others because they were the BEST. The best fives. But still deep down we were confident with ourselves. Completing the tasks were a hustle and we can proudly say that we survived it. 

 Finally, it was the time for announcement of results, our heartbeats were at peak, we were hopping to win the competition, but it was not sure as everyone around were the best, then at a moment our coordinator got a call from ecell iit bombay team to be at auditorium, it shocked us, then within a few seconds we were on stage holding a check of 30000 rupees we were announced to be second runner up!

 Many many other events were also organised there like ten minute challenge, networking arena, content creation conclave, internship and job fair and there were many key speakers also like Jaya Kishori(spiritual orator) , Lalit Keshar(co-founder and CEO of groww), Ashneer Grover(founder, BharatPe) etc.
